The Event Explorer is your window into all events that PulseGrid™ has ingested. You can filter, search, and drill into individual events.
Filters
| Filter | Options |
|---|---|
| Category | Filter by event type (geopolitical, economic, etc.) |
| Severity | Filter by minimum severity level (1-10) |
| Date Range | Show events from a specific time period |
| Symbol | Show only events affecting a specific instrument |
| Status | Active (within decay window) or archived |
Event Detail View
Clicking an event shows:
- Full description of the event
- Severity assessment with justification
- Affected instruments with per-instrument impact scores
- Source information and timestamp
- Related events that may be connected
Severity Scale
| Severity | Label | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 9-10 | Critical | Market-moving events with broad, immediate impact (e.g., major war, financial crisis) |
| 7-8 | High | Significant events affecting multiple instruments or sectors |
| 5-6 | Moderate | Notable events with measurable but contained impact |
| 3-4 | Low | Minor events with limited market relevance |
| 1-2 | Minimal | Background noise with negligible expected impact |
